i breakout pretty bad and ive heard mixed reviews. some say it was great. some say that it was bad but it got better. im just afraid that it will get really bad and not go away.I just bought proactiv. But i've read reviews that it made people break out. %26amp; im afraid any advice?
From what I've heard, it does clear up your acne but once you go off it, you will breakout again. You'll have to continue using the products.
Have you tried seeing a dermatologist? They could put you on hormone pills to control your acne or recommend another skin cream/cleaner.I just bought proactiv. But i've read reviews that it made people break out. %26amp; im afraid any advice?
Different acne treatments work differently for different people ;-) but I have compiled some info on Proactiv for you, based on reported experience:
Proactiv Negatives

- irritating
- dry out skin
- expensive to keep having it sent to you month after month
- clear face up, but as soon as you stop using it the acne might come back
- it bleaches the cloth...
- doesn't seem to work as well on blackheads
- skin became darker
- temporarily red in areas
- slight burning sensation when applying toner/repairing lotion
Proactiv Positives
===================
- really does work
- clears your face up pretty quickly
- leaves your face feeling soft
- reduce the appearance of pores
It doesnt CAUSE acne. It might not help it. But I doubt it will actually CAUSE it. I wouldn't worry about it. Try it it might actually help, you'll never know until you try. Plus those reviews might be from people with different skin types than you

I've bought it twice. And for 1 month I've religously been using it as directed . Allthought my skin felt clean I wasn't seeing any results and saw my skin breaking out more.
