Hey,
I really LOVE the film industry. I love to edit, act, direct and most of all - review! I love the way you can express you're oppinion honestly in a clear and enjoyable way for the audience.
I should be getting a job at Blockbuster in a year, so that made me happy to ;-).
But anyway, I have some questions about film critics:
1) Where is a good place online to post your film reviews and hear what people think?
2) When is the right time to try break into newspapers and magazines for film critics reviews? How would you do this?
3) My personal way of reviewing a film is to write myself a series of questions beforehand (such as main points, eg; cast, music, lighting, editing..etc..). How do you film critics choose set out your reviews?
4) Qualifications. Obviously good English Gcse, then would it be good to go onto English A-Level, and then a degree in Journlism? Also I was thinking of studying A-Level: English, Film Studies, Media Studies and Music. Would this be good for a film critics qualifications?
I would really appreciate you're input, really!
I know being a critic is NOT sitting around watching movies and eating popcorn all day. Hell no! I (but I may be wrong) think that is a common steriotype for a critic. But you are not casually enjoying a film, you're working. You watch good films, but heck I bet there are bad ones too!
Anyway, thank you :%26gt;I want to be a film critic. Can anyone give me advice on where to post my reviews? And answer these q's...?
You need to establish a reputation before you even think of being considered by a newspaper or magazine. It's not an easy profession to get into, and even more difficult to become successful at. Here's an article with a lot of good tips:
http://www.ehow.com/how_4687787_become-f鈥?/a>
And as for your first question, if you want to be a critic, the last thing you want to do is care what people think about you.

Reviews on the products from this site/ advice on clip-in hair extensions?
http://www.glamourextensions.com/main.ht鈥?/a>
I am very interested in buying clip-in human hair extensions.
Im still a bit weird about the clip in extensions from this site, theres so many clips- and bits and pieces to a full set of extensions.
This is the set I was thinking about buying:
http://www.glamourextensions.com/colors.鈥?/a>
Any reviews, or what do you plainly think?
And please don't tell me to wait for my hair to grow etc, because my brithday is in about 3 weeks, and hair extensions are basically one of those things I really want/will use ALOT.
Thankyou :}Reviews on the products from this site/ advice on clip-in hair extensions?
I love the clip in extensions. THose look to be about the right amount of sections and clips. More clips hold them in good.
I have some in right now! I love them, I paid 100$ for 16'; number 2 brown, so that price looks right too. Just make sure your natural hair is long enought so it is not really obvious, otherwise they are super easy to put in and look great. Yo uwill love them for you bday!Reviews on the products from this site/ advice on clip-in hair extensions?
If I were you - I would buy human hair wefts and sew it yourself on clips. You can get the clip ons at Sallys Beauty Supply which I think is a little pricey or you can buy them on Ebay - you get more for your money on Ebay. The reason I say to buy the human hair wefts yourself is because you can pick the hair that you like the best (quality, thickness etc). You end up spending more money buying clip on hair extensions that are already made. Most people I know buy them and end up having to spend more money to buy another set cause the hair provided wasn't enough. Also, you can sew the clip ons to your liking (width etc). The ones already clipped on have their own width and length, and pieces and you can't customize it to your liking. Your better off finding a store online or one by you and buying the hair yourself. Remember to stick to 100% remy hair. Thats the best hair available. Good luck

Advice or opinions about baby carriers (reviews?)?
Hi. My SO and I are doing the pre-baby shopping and having a hard time finding the right carrier. I guess we want one that does it all and is ergonomically friendly. Maybe that's too much to ask? We would prefer to be able to carry baby in front, on our backs, or on our hip - also we would like baby to be able to face us or face out when carried on the front. Lastly, something that has good back and hip support would be ideal since there may be times when we're wearing it for hours. Does anyone know of anything out there like this??
We have looked at Baby Bjorn, but that does not appear to be able to carry on the front AND on the back (backpack or piggyback style). Also, we found the ERGObaby, but that only allows baby to face you when riding in the front - baby can't face out. Also, while ERGO baby gets good reviews it doesn't appear suitable until the baby gets a bit bigger and we would like to only buy one carrier in stead of one for when it's a newborn and one for when it's a bit older.
Anyone find the perfect baby carrier for themselves? Something out there we've missed? Your input is appreciated - thanks!!Advice or opinions about baby carriers (reviews?)?
You might ike a Moby Wrap- it's very flexible and can do all the positions you mentioned.Advice or opinions about baby carriers (reviews?)?
I like the Moby wrap, very versatile and can wear different positions. Also it's easy to wash and dry. Very soft and never had pain carrying her.
I also like the ERGO and am thinking about getting on with this next baby.
Try looking at the Hosa Chunei. It is a vest style carrier. Something different than most other carriers. We love the Pea Pod Wrap!
i got a simple evenflo one and my baby hated it. I used it maybe 2 times and tossed it.
You need a Moby wrap! Check out their website mobywrap.com
It does it all from a sling to a hip holder.
The best carrier for all those positions is a wrap. I had an evenflo carrier and I hated it, it was so hard on my back. The wrap distributes the Weight evenly and can be worn in many different positions, you can even use it to discreetly breastfeed the baby. If your not looking to spend too much money you can even make it yourself, all you need is a long piece of stretchy fabric.
I used a moby wrap when my son was smaller and an Ergo around 3-4 months and it's still comfortable at a year old. The forward facing position isn't good for the baby which is why you will have a hard time finding a good one that allows that. My son does fine still just facing me.
The Ergo does have an infant insert although I believe some like it and some don't.
Info about forward facing, I hear it's a good wrap for a newborn as well.

you need a wrap! something like a hug-a-bub or moby wrap, or you can even make your own!! they are fantastic. you tie them on and the slip your baby in, suitable from birth to whenever you decide not to carry your baby anymore. you can learn all different sorts of carries, plus the thicker straps are heaps easier on your back. and a wrap is also much better for your babies spine, as they are pulled in close to you rather then resting on their tailbone. and theres no buckles or straps to adjust, it can fit anyone. i really think you will find a wrap is the way to go!!
some snugli brands do front and back carrying, but i have the baby bjorn with back support and i have damaged nerves in my back and if i watch my posture i can carry her for hours in that thing; she has always been comfy in it, still sleeps in it if tired at ten mos....that's my recommendation, although you can't wear it on your hip or back; i didn't want her on my back in public bc i couldn't see her....we only have the snugli for home...and we have only used it once, LOL
A baby carrying wrap (sash), you can tie it many ways, including front facing you, front facing out, cradle, on the hip etc. It is good until about two years old, as long as you have someone to lift the child into position on your back. Takes a bit of practice but is absolutely wonderful, comfortable for you and baby, plus you can roll it up and stick it in your diaper bag, unlike ergonomic carriers (I also own a Baby bjorn). There are several brands depending on where you live, this is the link to the company I used :blackheads

I'm being sued for posting negative reviews of a salon and need advice.?
Basically after my visit to a salon someone began using by credit card fraudulently. I did some online research and discovered many horror stories about the salon management/ownership. I posted several online reviews saying while I was happy with the stylist I received terrible service from mgmt etc. I also stated that ';while I cannot prove they are responsible for the fraudulent charges logic tells me they are';. Is there anything wrong with that? Is that not my right to free speech? Now I'm being sued for $10,000.I'm being sued for posting negative reviews of a salon and need advice.?
If you put a claim in writing that is negative about a person or business entity and it can be found to adversely affect the operations of that entity [such as causing customers to stop going there] and what you stated cannot be proved, it is illegal. It's called libel. The only way you can help yourself is to find irrefutable proof of what you claim.
to another answerer: slander is when you simply state something verbally. When it is in print or media--i.e. written-- it is libel.I'm being sued for posting negative reviews of a salon and need advice.?
That's not a negative review. That's a baseless allegation of fraud. It's also libel. The freedom of speech does not cover libel or slander.
They're not suing you for posting negative reviews, because they can't.
Saying that they gave you bad service, so they must have also committed credit card fraud is one of the most illogical statements I have ever heard.
I wouldnt worry about it! Its not slander as long as you said ';while I cannot prove they are responsible for the fraudulent charges logic tells me they are';
Nothing slanderous was said. They are just trying to scare you! Any judge will throw this out ASAP
Slander is the communication of a statement that makes a false claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government or nation a negative image.
You said ';I cannot prove';
You cannot be sued for a negative review. This form of lawsuit is called a SLAPP and is a form of frivolous lawsuit designed to intimidate and suppress free speech. You should be able to fight it in the legal system, but it will be expensive.
the salon has to prove that what you wrote caused them emotional and financial harm, and from what you describe, customer dissatisfaction, does not fall into that category
i dont think u should be getting sued for that. got a lawyer? this isnt right at all. ur just voicing ur own opinion. i would have done the same and im sure many people do it everyday.
yeah dear, its called slander. unless you have undesputable evidence taht is was them taht was using your card fraudulently, you cant say things like that..
As long as you say that you cannot prove it, then I don't believe they have a case.

I am looking advice on EXAKT saw or a similar tool ? I couldn't find any reviews on the net. Any guidance?
Dont even bother thinking of purchasing the Exakt tool. Ive seen reviews but Ive also seen demonstrations. Its nothing but a glorigied grinder. Dont buy it, buy a 4 inch grinder and stock different cutting/grinding disks as each job demands.I am looking advice on EXAKT saw or a similar tool ? I couldn't find any reviews on the net. Not many reviews but this one seems to be the one most referenced.
Also, when I did a search I used these search terms:
Exakt
Exakt Saw
';Exakt Saw';
Exakt +Saw
Exakt +Saw +review
';Exakt saw review';
As you can see you can search for what you want in many ways.
There is another Google hack you can use to get at what you want.
Use inurl:Exakt or inurl:Exakt +review Over 42,00 listings for the former and 450 for the latter.
Good luck.I am looking advice on EXAKT saw or a similar tool ? I couldn't find any reviews on the net. Any guidance?
Maybe ';Exacto';, maker of modeling tools?

sharing what you are feeling can be a difficult task. You have done just that. I see you sitting with a far away smile on your face.
You have talent. Keep sharing.
Your poem reminds me of when I drift into a dream. In my dream state, perhaps even the moment of drifting off and coming back from a dream. I sense the feeling of magic...of freedom. Good job!
Sound interesting. Something serene about it. There's something else going on here it seems. You've captured fleeting happiness.
I like it. It feels like something anyone can relate back to.
It sounds like pure freedom to me. I think it is a moment to be cherished and very well written.
nicely done, very enjoyable read.

I just got my dare last friday and I love it!! It has a lot of cool features, and really good. I text a lot, too (nice you mention it) anyways, the touch screen gets REALLY annoying, especially texting before bed or something. I got fustrated easily. Its an amazing phone, but get one with a keyboard to be truthful.
Go into the store, and ask to see the phone if you're still not sure.

I'm going to Canada in a year, any advice or reviews?
You are a Canadian citizen, but how long have you been out of the country? And where will you be attending university? Compared to Dubai, Canada is huge! It can be very different from Nova Scotia to Vancouver.
If you have been in the Middle East for many years, expect the following when you get back to Canada:
WEATHER:
You will probably find it much colder here. And I don't mean just temperature. Your body may have become accustomed to weather patterns in Dubai, and so the combination of heat/cold/humidity may make you FEEL much cooler than where you are now.
CULTURE SHOCK:
After an immersion in Dubai's language, lifestyle, and social standards, some people find it difficult to come to Canada. We have had cases of families who arrive here and the father or elder brother gets very upset that the mother or daughter become so liberal or exercise their freedoms.
I personally know a middle-eastern man who moved his whole family from Canada to Dubai when his daughter entered her teens because he was worried that she would get involved with a Canadian boy that was ';not of her heritage';.
SAFETY
Canada is considered one of the safest countries in the world, with major cities having very low homicide and violent crime rates. Most homicides in Canada are committed by people who know or are related to the victim. (Of course, you should still be alert and aware of your surroundings on a city street, especially after dark.) And crime in various towns can vary greatly based on what sector of the city you live in.
Other than that, I can't tell you much based on the limited info you gave. Perhaps add some more details and someone else can provide more input or sugestions.I'm going to Canada in a year, any advice or reviews?
Are you coming for a visit, as a tourist ?
Or are you intending to live and work here in Canada ?
If it is the latter, you must apply and be accepted. FIRST, by the Government of Canada
as a legal Immigrant.
EDIT....
It would have been helpfull if you had ';mentioned '; that you are a Canadian citizen, in the first place.......jeezzzz ,louise .....

the government website has lots of info ... go to the area on ';about canada';. http://www.canada.ca
The government site for official info on student visas and such
http://www.cic.gc.ca
and depending on what province you plan to go to school in but each has their own website with lots of general and specific info. Just ';google'; the province you are thinking of going to school in.
Depends if you will be a tourist or immigrant.
No advice because I've never been to canada in my life.

Holiday in Greece - advice and reviews please?
Hi, we are looking to go to Greece next spring/summer as we have been told its very nice - however we have NO idea which part to visit! Some have told us to visit Rhodes, others have reccomended Kos, it all looks lovely but as we have saved VERY hard for this holiday we want to make sure its worthwhile and we get the best out of what we pay for.
What would you guys recommend? Rhodes, Kos, or maybe Athens?? Does anyone have any links to websites, know of any fantastic hotels? Any tips for us while we are there?
Much appreciated!Holiday in Greece - advice and reviews please?
I have been to Kos,Rhodes,Corfu and a few others besides,Kos is nice as you have the Castle of the Knights of St John to Look round and another site over the road from there and some good beaches.Rhodes has the ruins at Lindos and the walled city of Rhodes old town and some great beaches.A couple of sites to look at are WWW.greeka.com there is some good information and photos on there rom other holiday makers and www.gnto.com,the Greek tourist office and you can order travel brochures and they send them free of charge.Holiday in Greece - advice and reviews please?
You should stay at Athens about 2 days, to see the monuments. You really can't come to Greece and miss the most wonderful monuments in history!
Kos and Rhodes also have heritage to visit, but also gerat sandy beaches. I do recommend them. What you need to be carfeul is teh place you'll be at. Avoid Faliraki in Rhodes and Kardamena in Kos, these are places for drunken partying tourists. Other places are lovely. Also, be careful with package tours, they may put you in a hotel that you don't like, also full of tourists doing silly ';animation'; stuff, like loud music around the pool while you want to rest (it's happened to me). Perhaps you should check out the hotels on teh internet by yourself. A package tour would be cheaper, of course.
I've been to Zante twice, and to Rhodes four times. I think its all about preference really. In my opinion, Rhodes is lovely: i think theres something to do whatever age you are. theres faliraki, theres rhodes town with gd shopping, and the further south you get the calmer it gets. I stayed in a little resort near Lindos, which is an old market town and that was nice. theres a waterpark as well, but i haven't been there yet.
It really depends on your age and what kind of holiday you want. Clubbing resorts are plenty as are family resorts and quieter ones. It best to do some research online with various travel companies. They're usually pretty honest because they won't get good reviews if holiday makers end up at the wrong kind of place.
So far I've been to Hydra, Kefalonia, Corfu and Santorini. I've enjoyed each holiday.
Depends on your age and interests. Try a site like travelbag; you will get reviews from people who have visited these places.
Whatever you decide, Greece is a wonderful country with magnificent scenery and friendly people. Mainland or one of the islands, I know you will have a great time.
why not Corfu island?

Well, what kind of holiday are you after? lol
I went to Halkidiki and thought it was more rural and authentic. The hotel was quint, the beach was gorgeous and quiet.
There was things to do, but you have to travel to get to them.
Beware where you step on Zante cause of land mines.
Crete - rivers of refugees are seeking shelters cause of civil war there.
iv been all over the greek islands, and my personal favorite is zante. its also one of the cheapest. i think it has the nicest beaches and has a really good greeky feel. my favorite town in zante was aleykes (thats probably spelt wrong) which is a really nice greek town, with the hills in the backround and the beach and a beautiful town.
kos and creet are also very nice, and are extremly historical, if your into anchent greek things. if you are i'd reckomend a trip to olymipia for the day, its on the main land but most islands offer ferry tripps, it is the site of the first olimpics, and you can run on the first track, which is very iteresting.
but greece is such a great plavce and there isnt really anywhere that you can go to wronge, exsept being to close to an airport, that can ruin a holiday.
but greece is my favorite destination, and please dont be stingy and get air conditoning, you WILL need it

Advice please on reviewing books?
I started a blog trying to review the books I read. I have been lazy with my writing since I graduated college and I thought a way to work on my writing would be to review some of the books I read.
What makes a good review? I have been struggling with being able to explain the book without giving too much away. So I find that my reviews tend to be boring and flat. Here is a link to my blog I would appreciate any help.
http://darknovels.today.com/Advice please on reviewing books?
Most of the reviews on my books have shown a great interest in the story and my writing style.
First post the blurb from the book itself you can lift it from the author website usually or a sale outlet.
--- Second move into the movement and flow of the writer or the story. ie: 'the story has such a build up from beginning to end that the reader is quickly encompassed by the stark setting (or writing) and the energy of the characters (or words).
--- Third if the ending is your favorite part and you don't want to give it away talk about how it was a 'surprise to you' or 'unique in the way it was presented leaving the reader completely fulfilled (or expectant).
--- It also doesn't hurt to compare styles to other authors or the story to other books in the sense that if your audience is aware of the genre there is a good chance that they have heard of the other references and get a better idea of what the reviewer is saying.
--- Also mentioning the authors other works is good for the author even if you haven't read them. Many of my reviewers end with comments such as 'I hope her first novel is more satisfying' or 'I hope the second novel shows this authors staying powers in the industry'. For me even negative reviews have a positive response. Though people will like what they want they will go out and purchase a book in some cases to see if it is as bad as they say.
I went and read your reviews not bad. You are informative and give opinions based on your preferences. You will get better.
SGAdvice please on reviewing books?
Give a small blurb about the actual story but then switch to things like style, movement, flow. How did it affect you emotionally etc.
There is more to a book than just the story.
I hope I helped as I have never written a book review before.
Well basically you should start out with a quick summary, and quickly go into your favorite parts, with good details. You might also want to put the things you didn't like. Also add how you felt while reading those parts, to make it more vivid.

Has anyone been to the North of the Dominican Republic? Any advice or reviews for soon 2 b first timers? :-)?
yes its lovely go on trip advisor for reviews on resorts and hotels. make sure you use insect repellant containing deet as it is a malaria zone and take your own toiletries rather than buying them there because it is really overpriced. bon voyage!Has anyone been to the North of the Dominican Republic? Any advice or reviews for soon 2 b first timers? :-)?
I have been Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Me and my boyfriend went as a spare of the moment thing, it cost us £550 each, and was a great holiday. They have an excellent trips like Ocean World, were we swam with dolphins and had an excellent sea lion show. You also can do a sting-ray encounter - if your feeling brave, plus loads more, with your transport and lunch included in the day pass cost.
We also went to a private island which was excellent, beautiful beaches, and my partner proposed to me on the private island, so that was a special trip for me.
There is so much Ive given up a link to the trip ad visors reviews to the hotel we stayed at.
Hope it helps!Has anyone been to the North of the Dominican Republic? Any advice or reviews for soon 2 b first timers? :-)?
BE prepared. From the early 80's till now, the place has been invaded by tourism, which brought along prostitution, and many old men dating young boys or girls.
Your eyes may pop out of your head, but that's the way it is in third world.
Oops, forgot about the over 50 women dating 18--yr.old studs.
i AM FROM PUERTO PLATA...IT IS BEAUTIFUL OVER THERE..YOU SHOULD MAYBE PLAN A TRIP THERE...STAY AT THE HOTEL ALLEGRO IN PLAYA DORADO IT IS GORGEOUS THERE AND YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR STAY TRUST ME

Were can i find list showing top 10 laptops, with reviews and advice?
i recently started working for myself and need alternate/upto date pc/laptop. (pc i have getting on a bit) i am after guidence and advice make sure i pick the right one.i my peference and what laptop used for, i would like 17';- do all my buiseness work on it.- graphs-reports -autocad drawings-photo editing ect.
access internet. wireless (do a lot down loading off net.)
watch films
play newest games out. have camera,
copy to dvd/cd,
sound/speakers.
So basically its for home and my kids, also to be used to run buiseness on. it will not be carried/moved around often.
i need someone in the know to say ';thats the laptop you want it covers all your needs/requirements, highly rated, reliable and good value for money';.
with the buiseness in its early days, funds have to be spent wisely and correctly, thats why i want to get the right laptop for all my uses.
thanks
JayWere can i find list showing top 10 laptops, with reviews and advice?
There is no such thing as a specific system to cover all your needs. A graphics card designed for Autocad is not going to be the same one designed for games. The fact that you want to allow your kids to play with it and run a business is a dangerous venture. That said....
If you want to play the ';newest games';, You'll want a DirectX10 card, a minimum of 2GB of RAM, a large drive (320GB as a minimum, if not dual drives), and a processor at around 2.2Ghz or better so that you have support for a 64bit OS later. Wireless N should be a requirement if you are doing lots of downloads.
If you want a laptop that covers all your needs, you should be getting two laptops. One for your business needs and one for play in my professional opinion. The moment your system crashes cause your kids downloaded some bogus game is the time when you will have made the biggest mistake.
You should also not be asking for advice on a forum like this. You should get advice from a professional in the industry instead. PCWorld, Tom's Hardware, PC Magazine, and CNET (as mentioned) are good places to look for reviews. Were can i find list showing top 10 laptops, with reviews and advice?

You are very pretty! I don't think you need to change anything!
You can upload a pic of yourself to my website and try on different color combinations. You have beautiful coloring. I would do a mineral powder foundation in Ivory 2 with a berry colored lipstick and blush. I would do neutral colors (browns, grays) for your eyes with brown eyeliner and black mascara. Have fun!
Not really sure what I would recommend to you. Its difficult to pick so what I end up doing is starting with the less expensive and trying out a few different ones.I would check out the review site at http://www.brandsmakeup.com visit and read the reviews.
okay well your pretty but un well ur makeup ritee now is too dark for ur skintone.
use alighter shade and u should be good to go ;D
omg, you are super duper cute! there's something about you that is just so unique. i love your hair and your makeup your wearing is beautiful. i think you'd be stunning with a more natural look not too much eyeliner(black at least) just keep it to a minimum. good luck!

My resume doesn't seem to be getting any reviews..Any tips or advice?
It's hard to say without seeing the resume itself. But my favorite piece of advice is to don't have a ';one resume fits all';. Meaning, don't make a resume and hand out the same one for 25+ positions. Try to personalize the resume to fit the postition. You can do this by reading the job description and making sure that their requirements and preferences are highlighted in your resume. For example, if they are looking for a project supervisor, highlight your skills that would fit that position. Yes, it may be a lot more work. But it shows that you are serious and are really interested in the positon.
Good Luck!!!My resume doesn't seem to be getting any reviews..Any tips or advice?
Hi without knowing what you are applying for or the contents of your resume, it is very difficult.
Consider reading the book 'tough answers for tough interview questions'; - it is one of the best books on applying for jobs I have found.
the article http://www.hrzone.co.uk/cgi-bin/item.cgi鈥?/a> will help you.
Make sure there are NO spelling mistakes
there is good formatting
use of appropriately language/ jargon
do you customize each CV for each job?
do you include a job and company specific cover letter? do you follow up each application?
Contact each company you have been 'rejected' by and ask for reasons - the more specific the better - make a note of these and change your approach accordingly.
Maybe you are just going for inappropriate roles??
good luck

Travel Advice/Reviews about Cuba?
Cuba might be where we go on Vacation this year.
But I'd like to know some thing's about Cuba.
Does communism effect tourism ? How can you have an All-Inclusive hotel when the country is communist and the Libreta de Abastecimiento/Rationing system, is in place.
I saw on a travel show, and the man had to que to get ice-cream
Along with two currency's - and although I have a GSM phone, no networks of my country (Spain) allow you to use your phone in Cuba :S
I've read the Wiki Travel page on Cuba, but I'd like some more info. mostly about an all-inclusive hotel.Travel Advice/Reviews about Cuba?
if you plan to stay only at the all-inclusive resort why go to cuba? why not go to one of the great spanish resorts?
if you want to holiday and experience different things then yes people queuing for ice cream is what you might see (along with architecture, history, culture, people old cars), there is cell phone coverage in cuba but when i go on holiday i am uncontactable as i want a break so don't know how you get around that problem i know obama has lifted restrictions on american phone providers,
2 currencies the CUC is the one you as a tourist use most of the time the local peso (24 = 1 cuc) can be used sometimes especially if you speak spanish (no problem for you)
michelle you can get the local peso at the cadensas(?) money exchange shops 24 for one there are a few in havana lonley planet lists the locationsTravel Advice/Reviews about Cuba?
Tourism is their income right now. Whatever you pay for all inclusive you get to fly, drink, eat all you want. Food is bland.Communism doesn't effect tourism. They will have pork, chicken, carne, pescado, camerrones, langosta, fruit, cappucino, mojitos, cervesa, ron, vino tinto, blanco, huevos.I don't know what you mean a man had to que to get ice cream. Some resorts will have ice cream or you can buy helados by nestle in stores or snack bars. Yes there are two currencies. The cuban peso and the tourist convertible peso. If your on vacation throw away your phone anyway. There is also usually entertainment at all resorts.
The communism does not effect tourism what so ever.
There are many all inclusive hotels. My cell phone does not work in cuba, but Rogers does (canadian network) it just depends on how big your server is i think.
when you change your money you will get CUC ( convertible peso) this is worthless anywhere but Cuba. the Cuban citizens use CUP. You will not be able to get your hands on any unless a cuban citizen gives you it as a souvenir or something.
I recommand looking at the Blau Varadero
look at www.tripadvisor.com
you can look up all different hotels in cuba and read reviews.
keep your mouth shut//do not say anything bad about the gov't//if you should get into some trouble good luckblackheads

I just bought proactiv. But i've read reviews that it made people break out. & im afraid any advice?
i breakout pretty bad and ive heard mixed reviews. some say it was great. some say that it was bad but it got better. im just afraid that it will get really bad and not go away.I just bought proactiv. But i've read reviews that it made people break out. %26amp; im afraid any advice?
From what I've heard, it does clear up your acne but once you go off it, you will breakout again. You'll have to continue using the products.
Have you tried seeing a dermatologist? They could put you on hormone pills to control your acne or recommend another skin cream/cleaner.I just bought proactiv. But i've read reviews that it made people break out. %26amp; im afraid any advice?
Different acne treatments work differently for different people ;-) but I have compiled some info on Proactiv for you, based on reported experience:
Proactiv Negatives
===================
- irritating
- dry out skin
- expensive to keep having it sent to you month after month
- clear face up, but as soon as you stop using it the acne might come back
- it bleaches the cloth...
- doesn't seem to work as well on blackheads
- skin became darker
- temporarily red in areas
- slight burning sensation when applying toner/repairing lotion
Proactiv Positives
===================
- really does work
- clears your face up pretty quickly
- leaves your face feeling soft
- reduce the appearance of pores
It doesnt CAUSE acne. It might not help it. But I doubt it will actually CAUSE it. I wouldn't worry about it. Try it it might actually help, you'll never know until you try. Plus those reviews might be from people with different skin types than you
Yesss!
I've bought it twice. And for 1 month I've religously been using it as directed . Allthought my skin felt clean I wasn't seeing any results and saw my skin breaking out more.

I'm thinking about buying a puppy from Puppy Depot in Coram. Any comments/reviews/advice?
i'm looking at a black 3 and a 1/2 month old cockerspaniel female at Puppy Depot in Coram, ny. she looks really healthy and sturdy despite their conditions and is playful and sweet. (no obvious signs of illness ie: foaming at the mouth, kennel cough, etc..) we've heard mixed reviews about it but really like her and the price is good ($650). our friend got her dog from there and it's a perfectly healthy adult dog now. please help!I'm thinking about buying a puppy from Puppy Depot in Coram. Any comments/reviews/advice?
Anything labelled as ';puppy depot'; is bound to be a puppy mill broker, puppy miller, BYB scum, or worse. I wouldn't touch the place with a ten foot pole.
Just because one person got one dog that APPEARS to be healthy doesn't mean you will be as lucky. I would say close to 95% of all dogs from pet stores, BYBs, or mills are riddled with genetic illnesses or physical defaults that could, later on in the dog's life, cause pain and suffering.
Take a good look at this site and tell me WHY you would support this place:
http://www.stoppuppymills.org/I'm thinking about buying a puppy from Puppy Depot in Coram. Any comments/reviews/advice?
Just because your friend got lucky buying from a pet shop doesn't mean you should do the same. No guarantee she's purebred or well bred. You do know you could probably get a pet quality pup from a reputable breed or that same price if not a little more right?
Pet shop = puppy mill or byb
Pet shop = you are on your own if the dog gets sick
Pet shop = you will get the run around trying to get your money back if the first words out of your mouth aren't ';legal action';
http://www.asc-cockerspaniel.org/index.p鈥?/a> Breeder referral from the breed club of america for NY
http://www.netpets.org/dogs/dogclub/bree鈥?/a> here is a listing for several regional cocker spaniel clubs in NY here.
No - don't support puppy mills. After reading some of the reviews - I don't know why they are still open.
Instead of buying a dog from here - report them to the local authorities.
Petfinder.com should have plenty of cocker spaniels and you can check with the breed club too if you want to purchase from a breeder.
I suggest you NOT buy any puppy from a ';puppy depot.'; That sounds like another name for a puppy mill. And there are many other signs of canine illness that you probably are not aware of to look for -- foaming at the mouth and coughing are not the only signs of an ill dog.
You said ';despite their conditions.'; What conditions??? Are you REALLY considering buying a puppy from a place with such awful conditions? Remember what you are supporting here -- your money will go straight to those greedy lowlifes who are keeping those poor dogs in such conditions.
Just because the puppy SEEMS to be healthy now does not mean that it won't end up having some horrible debilitating disease, even just months down the road. You may not be so lucky as your friend, and your friend isn't necessarily in the clear just because her puppy is a little older now. Her dog still has a long life ahead of it. PLEASE read this.
http://www.boxerworld.com/forums/choosin鈥?/a>
If you want to support puppy mills then buy her. if you would prefer a dog that you can see the parents, know the health history, buy from a reputable breeder. if you really want to have a puppy, save a lot of money (and a life) go to a shelter and adopt one.
My friend says that buying it from a breeder is alot better than a store.. some dogs are'nt even healthy when they are at a shop so i think you are better off with a dog from a breeder but if you really like her see if a breeder has something like it
Please don't you are enabling a puppy mill to continue their evil practices

A Shakespearean Sonnet I've Written. I need some reviews/advice on it. (Also about my girlfriend)?
The Love And Hate Of A Relationship
Oh how randomly you walked in to my life
You were so great on our very first date
We had very little, if no strife
You gave no reason to want to hate
The months flew by as we continued to be
I visited you quite often, despite the distance
All I knew is you were the one I wanted to see
We held our ground, never failing to hold our stance
Then you left off to college, but we stayed together
Then you hurt me, making out with another guy
You cried and cried, as you thought you had said forever
I came to you that Tuesday, and we made sure our love would never die
We worked it out, without a doubt
I鈥檓 yours, your mine, throughout and throughoutA Shakespearean Sonnet I've Written. I need some reviews/advice on it. (Also about my girlfriend)?
It's probably difficult to get decent reviews on here...try going to a writing site - you'll get reviews by other writers and readers. Try papertank.com or mywriterscircle.comA Shakespearean Sonnet I've Written. I need some reviews/advice on it. (Also about my girlfriend)?
Honestly. I think its cheesy when people try to write poems in a vintage style. To be quite hoesnt, I think that writing poems for your significant other is cheesy and annoying.blackheads

I've bought it twice. And for 1 month I've religously been using it as directed . Allthought my skin felt clean I wasn't seeing any results and saw my skin breaking out more.
===================
===================
- really does work
- clears your face up pretty quickly
- leaves your face feeling soft
- reduce the appearance of pores
It doesnt CAUSE acne. It might not help it. But I doubt it will actually CAUSE it. I wouldn't worry about it. Try it it might actually help, you'll never know until you try. Plus those reviews might be from people with different skin types than you

Just because your friend got lucky buying from a pet shop doesn't mean you should do the same. No guarantee she's purebred or well bred. You do know you could probably get a pet quality pup from a reputable breed or that same price if not a little more right?
Pet shop = puppy mill or byb
Pet shop = you are on your own if the dog gets sick
Pet shop = you will get the run around trying to get your money back if the first words out of your mouth aren't ';legal action';

Honestly. I think its cheesy when people try to write poems in a vintage style. To be quite hoesnt, I think that writing poems for your significant other is cheesy and annoying.

Looking for some reviews/advice for a doll stroller for my 20 month old. Any input please?
She is 20 months and about average height (32';). I only want a single stroller not a double. And I also want one sturdy enough to go outside. I am planning on spending about $30-45 on it. I don't want a cheap cheap one because I feel like they are a waste as they deteriorate quickly in quality. And I don't want to spend too much because she is getting a nicer one from Pottery Barn Kids for her birthday. The one for her B-day is a pink polka-dot pram style. But at the moment she is still a bit too small to use the pram shaped ones well. It's too hard for her to reach into it. So I want a forward facing style. Right now I am between these 3 really:
The MacClaren Junior XT ($30), it got decent reviews on toys r us and I know that our local toys r us has it in stock.
The Graco Expidition doll jogger ($23); This one is newer I believe so there was only 1 review for it; but it was a good one.
The MacClaren MX3 jogger ($33); again got good reviews and I think this is super cute.
Finally the Fisher-Price rainforest 2-in-1 stroller ($29.), the reviews were mixed but I just think it looks SO cute with al the rainforest theme baby stuff out there and everything!
So if anyone has either other suggestions, or has a comment about one that I listed as intetrested in please let me know. I know it seems like a lot for a doll stroller, but I hate getting her excited them it being a hunk of crap, and having to take it back ect. I prefer to research it well first. Thanks for your help!!!Looking for some reviews/advice for a doll stroller for my 20 month old. Any input please?
I have a 19 mo old granddaughter that I bought a doll stroller for at Christmas. I think I paid only around $20 for it at Target; it's from Mommy %26amp; Me but it is very sturdy. This one is pink %26amp; green but they had one just a little larger that was in shades of blue %26amp; green (I think).
My granddaughter actually likes to take her doll out %26amp; sit in it herself!
We were afraid it would break but it seems to be holding up very well. I didn't want to spend a lot because I know she will outgrow this %26amp; need a bigger, better one at that time. This is the perfect size for her right now. Good luck.Looking for some reviews/advice for a doll stroller for my 20 month old. Any input please?
Little Tikes - it's INDESTRUCTABLE and easily cleaned. Good fit for popular sized dolls. Anything roughly the size of a Cabbage Patch doll works well.

You can probably find it cheaper elsewhere. They also have a baby buggy style one.

Royal Caribbean Reviews/Advice?
I'm embarking on a cruise later this week with Royal Caribbean and I was wondering if anyone has any past experiences or advice they would like to share to help me prepare or to let me know what to expect, such as the food, activities on board (see cruise details), or any other advice that could help avoid trouble, delays, etc. Also, I've had trouble finding details about all-inclusiveness. Are Royal Caribbean's cruises universally all-inclusive or not or am I just not seeing something? I'm also having trouble finding information about wifi on the ships.
Cruise details:
Four Nights
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas
Departure Port: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Ports of Call: Key West, Florida and Cozumel, Mexico
One day at sea
Any input is appreciatedRoyal Caribbean Reviews/Advice?
I have been on many cruises with Royal Caribbean. I have not been on the Enchantment but have been on one of the other of RC's Vision Class ships. Its one of their older ships but it is nice and has good features and service. I suggest that you take a look at this RC web site which gives the features of the ship and lets you take a 360 visual tour/view of it.
http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruis鈥?/a>
Your standard cabin will be between 175 and 200 sq ft depending upon which category you selected, about the size of a 9 by 12 ft home bedroom. It will have two beds which can be made into a queen, a bathroom with a shower stall, a closet and some drawer space, a TV and telephone, a safe for valuables, a mini-refrigerator, and a life jacket for each passenger. Your cabin steward will clean your cabin and provide fresh towels twice a day, and provide ice.
Regardless of which cruise line you select, the things that are included are pretty much the same. The price of your cruise includes your cabin, all meals (including breakfast, lunch dinner, snacks and free room service)(you do pay to eat in the specialty restaurants), all shows and entertainment, and free use of all facilities on ship. The things that you will have to pay for are:
GRATUITIES: They will amount to about $10 per person in your cabin per day; about $40 each for a 4 day cruise. When you check in at the pier they will set up an on-board charge account for you to cover any and everything you may buy on ship. They will issue you a ';cruise card'; which will also serve as your room key and pass to get on and off the ship. At the end of the cruise they will add the gratuity to your tab and you can pay with a credit card or cash, your choice.
ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AND SOFT DRINKS: Coffee, tea, milk, juice, and lemonade and punch will be provided free but you must pay for soft drinks and alcoholic beverages and they will add a 15% gratuity to each drink and soft drink order. You can save on alcoholic beverages by requesting the drinks in a plain glass rather than the fancy souvenir glass which adds about $2.00 to the price. RC sells soft drink cards for unlimited soft drinks on the first day of the cruise only; so if you drink a lot of soft drinks you may want to consider getting one.
PHOTOGRAPHS: Cruise lines will take plenty of photographs of you all over the ship, in the dining room, and as you exit the ship in ports. These will cost a lot, like $15 to $20 for most. You can save on photos by simply taking your own; ask other passengers to take pictures of you around the ship, they always agree to that.
TOURS/EXCURSIONS: You are not required to book any tours and can get off and on in the ports as much as you want. But the cruise line will offer a lot of tours and these are expensive. These are listed on your cruise line web site and you can reserve them well before the cruise and pay for them also. If you are going to the Caribbean, most places you can get a tour or taxi on the pier for a much lower price than on the ship.
SOUVENIRS: Anything you buy on ship from a gift shop or duty free shop goes on your on board account. Things that you buy on shore you pay cash or credit card for.
CASINO: If you plan to gamble on ship you will need cash for that.
OTHER: the ship has a ';specialty'; restaurants called Chops Grille and there is a gratuity/service charge of about $20 each person each time to eat there. All other food on board is free and its not really necessary to budget for food; you cannot eat all of the FREE FOOD that will be available.
SPA Services: If you want/need to have your hair done, get a massage or wrap, or any services from the spa, you will have to pay for them. You can use the gym free but the spa stuff cost big bucks.
You cabin will likely have a minibar with soft drinks and munchies; you have to pay for them (but there is free room service 24/7).
INTERNET SVCS: The ships will have an internet cafe and also WiFi but the there is a fee for internet access and it is very expensive (like about $50 to $60 an hour). If you really want/need to get online wait until a port stop and you can probably get it for about $5. to $6 an hour; that's what we always do.
This is from RC's web site regarding WiFi:
';There will be six designated *';Hot Spots'; which vary from ship to ship.
To use our WI-FI access, you'll need:
A laptop
Windows operating system
802.11b Wireless networking capability
The cost for Wi-Fi access through your own laptop is:
Base rate is $.55 per minute or choose from one of our prepaid packages:
$28.00 for 60 minutes
$38.00 for 90 minutes
$55.00 for 150 minutes
All prices are subject to change without notice.';
Its been my experience that the internet service on ships is very slow, especially when the ship is moving and has to keep adjusting for its satellite connection. SO try it before you decide to buy a package.
There will be a free show for everyone each evening and the disco will start about 11:00 PM each evening; no cover or admission charge. The cruise director will have organized games and activities around the pool. You can use the gym and walking track; you can use the game room for board games; and there will be the pools and hot tubs. This ship has a solarium which is a covered pool and hot tub area that is nice for quiet time.
Here are some packing tips:
Always pack your passport and cruise documents in your carry on bag ONLY.
The dress on ship is casual all day until 6:00PM, so take:
-swim wear (at least 2),
-shorts, tank tops and ';T's';
-sandals,
-beach shoes,
-your snorkel equipment if you have it,
-sun glasses and sun screen,
-lotions,
-a cap or big hat for the sun,
-a book if you are a reader,
-your music player,
-sneakers and clothes to workout in if you like to use the gym,
-good walking shoes,
-your camera, and
-other personal toiletries including tooth paste, mouth wash or lotions.
Your cabin will have towels and soap provided, including pool and beach towels, and a hair dryer. It will also have a generic hair shampoo so you do not need to bring that unless you like a specific brand.
After 6:00 PM they request that you wear ';sports or resort casual'; attire. That's attire that you would expect a person to wear in a business office, (like a bank employee), shirt with a collar, slacks, skirt, blouse, etc. You can still wear shorts and swim wear in the pools and spas but not in public areas like dining rooms and restaurants, show rooms, bars, casino, etc. Don't over pack , take clothes that you can mix and match tops and bottoms and plan to wear each piece twice. If you are going to the Caribbean, beaches and tours you will likely be in shorts and/or swim wear most of every day so evening clothes don't usually get much wear.
Your cruise will have a formal night when you can wear your best stuff and get pictures taken, and maybe meet the ship鈥檚 Captain. The formal nights are REQUESTED not required attire. You will not be denied entry to the main dining room if you decide not to dress up, as long as you are at least sports casual. But most people do dress up. A gown or party dress for women and a suit or tux for men. Some people dress up both formal nights, some don't.
- Its best to pack using soft-sided luggage because with space limited in your cabin it fits under the beds better if its not hard sided luggage.
- Pack using the vacuum clothing bags (about $20 for 3 at Target) so that you can get more in your bag AND so that if the TSA at the airport opens your bag they can see what's inside without rummaging through your things.
-Take a small carry-on bag for the last night of the cruise. On the last evening you will be required to put your luggage outside your cabin by about 2:00 AM so that they can start taking it down to the lower deck for offloading the next morning. So you will need a small bag for your toiletries and your clothes that you sleep in.
- If you are taking your cell phone, MP3 player or other item that needs to be plugged in take an extension cord as the plugs in the cabin are generally not in the best places and there are usually only one or two.
- Take a small bottle of hand sanitizer and/or hand-wipes. There are generally sanitizer dispensers at the entrances of restaurants, the buffets and dining room, but some times the are not there or not working. The sanitizer helps prevent the spread of the Norwalk Virus that sometimes occur on cruise ships.
-If you plan to get into the pools or hot tub as soon as you get on ship (they will be open), bring those clothes in your carry on bag; you other luggage may not get to your cabin until much later in the afternoon.
- Take a can of air freshener for your cabin bathroom. The bathrooms do not have exhaust fans.
- Take a few zip lock bags of various sizes; they always come in handy.
- Take some one dollar bills (also maybe a few $5's) for tipping the porters in the airport, at the pier (they do not work for the ship), and they will come in handy in port stops for buying small items in the markets and at vendor stands; especially bartering places.Royal Caribbean Reviews/Advice?
not everything is inclusive, the dining room(also serves breakfast and lunch) in included, usually theres a windjammers cafe with is also included, you need to pay for any specialty drinks(alcohol, virgin drinks, fancy coffees)
tipping at the end of the cruise really adds up, its not included in your booking price....but do make sure to tip, i know sometimes people don't, but the waiters and room staff work hard and the tips they receive is their main pay.
spa services you have to pay for, bingo too....most of the act. are free...
as for the internet, every ship has different options, check with guest relations as soon as you can after boarding.
I have been on 3 cruises almost 4 and two almost three of them were with Royal Caribbean. I went on Enchantment right after she had been refurbished. It was very nice. Royal Caribbean is a great cruise line. Just have fun.....that is my only advice. Have a great time.
Have never sailed with RC, but the mass-market cruises are ';all-inclusive'; only in that your cabin, most food, and most activities are included. You'll pay for ';premium'; restaurants [I think that includes Johnny Rocket's on RC, but I may be wrong], most drinks [soda/alcohol/wine], spa services, bingo, excursions in port, some gym activities [e.g. Yoga, Pilates], and, of course, tips of about $10/person/day.
Activities will probably include wine tastings, karaoke, trivia games, pool games, art auctions, game shows, various type of musical acts and shows, etc, etc.
A great source for info about all aspects of cruising is available at CruiseCritic.com. Click on ';Boards'; at the top of the page and then choose your topic. You might also be interested in ';Reviews'; [be sure and read ';Member Reviews'; there, too]. You should be able to find info about WiFi and other computer stuff there. Computer use on board will be extremely expensive, but you can find places in port where you can check e-mail, etc, for relatively little cost.
Have a great cruise.
Oooh! Enchantment will be a very pretty ship. She had a major refurb in 2005, which added the steak house ($25 extra, but very good stuff).
The food on RCI is, in general, pretty good. In general, I'd say just order what you like and you can't go wrong. I personally thought the room service chili was awesome ... but I'm really into both chili and room service. =)
In terms of cruise costs, the ';extras'; to be aware of are:
- Gratuities - about $10 per person, per day
- Soda, bottled watter, and alcohol
- The steak restaurant (fyi, there's no Johnny Rockets on Enchantment)
- Shore excursions when you get off the ship
There's a more detailed article about cruise ship costs here: http://www.cruisesavvy.com/savvyguide/in鈥?/a>
In terms of advice, I'd say read this ';Know Before You Go'; set of articles, especially the one on embarkation advice, but it also has a good packing checklist, tips on how to stay healthy and safe, etc:
http://www.cruisesavvy.com/savvyguide/kn鈥?/a>
Oh, and you can check out bar prices and menus from Royal Caribbean here: http://www.cruisesavvy.com/gallery
just click on ';drink prices'; or whatever you want to see and then select Royal Caribbean.
Hope that helps!

All prices are subject to change without notice.';
-swim wear (at least 2),
-shorts, tank tops and ';T's';
-sandals,
-beach shoes,
-your snorkel equipment if you have it,
-sun glasses and sun screen,
-lotions,
-a cap or big hat for the sun,
-a book if you are a reader,
-your music player,
-sneakers and clothes to workout in if you like to use the gym,
-good walking shoes,
-your camera, and
-other personal toiletries including tooth paste, mouth wash or lotions.

Need reviews/info/advice on a nikon 70-300 dx vr lens ?
Im new to the digital slr game and I have a d40x. I want a zoom lens and was wondering if this lens was a good buy at $499? and what other lenses are good for this style of camera? thanksNeed reviews/info/advice on a nikon 70-300 dx vr lens ?
You can by that lens at B%26amp;H Photo for $470 ...
and it is NOT a DX lens. It is a lens that can be used on 35 mm, FX and DX cameras.
For the focal range of that lens, there really is no other lens like it. I have used the older AF 70-300 mm for shooting sports and air shows. It produced superb images ... now I have a 400 mm f/2.8, so i don't use it any more.
The only thing close to your lens would be the 70-200 mm f/2.8, but you lose 100 mm's and it ONLY costs $1,330 ;%26gt;)Need reviews/info/advice on a nikon 70-300 dx vr lens ?

Any reviews/advice for the toshiba satellite a200-ch1?
nothing on a200, but i feel obligated to put in a good word for the new satellites overall.
i have p200 as my personal laptop (as opposed to the work one), and it's really not a bad thing at all. i went to the store thinking i want an hp definitely, and ended up with a toshiba.
so far, i haven't regretted.
the only major disappointment is vista. but i'm confident right now that is not a matter of the laptop and it sucks equally on a dell, hp, ibm and every other imaginable machine.
and not to forget, the really good thing about toshiba is the repair service. i crashed my motherboard and i took it to their representative, and they fixed it very quickly and restored it to its original shine and beauty :)
i mean, i know the configuration is the biggest seller, but you never know what can happen. with laptops all you need is a bit of static shock, and the whole thing becomes a dust catcher. so it's good to consider the ';what ifs'; :)

Is my friend's review of the carter III, a review at all? Can someone give him some advice?
I told him that a review is your evaluation and opinion on something but he begs to differ. I told him that his ';review'; is just an observation. Here it is. ';Lil’ Wayne is by far one of the hottest artists of 2008. His creativity and ability to make mix tape after mix tape and appearances on other artists songs has kept him relevant during the time between Tha Carter II %26amp; III has made him one of the greatest hip hop artist ever heard on the mic. With songs like “Got Money” feat T-Pain, “A Mili” and “Mr. Carter” feat Jay-Z, it’s no wonder his album 'Tha Carter III' took platinum in the first week!
Dwayne Michael Carter, also known as Lil’ Wayne, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and signed onto the Cash Money Records label at the age of 12. He emerged from being the youngest in the “Hot Boyz” group to part owner of Cash Money Records and founder of Young Money Entertainment which has signed their newest artist Tyga, the first Young Money artist from California. He has productively become a well known name all over the music industry including Pop, Rock, and R%26amp;B.
Lil’ Wayne has repeatedly been considered as “The best rapper alive” from fans and critics everywhere. His latest singles (“Lollipop”, “Got Money”, and “A Millie”) has shot his ratings through the roof! We can expect more from this aspiring actor for years to come.
“Tha Carter III is useful as an exclamation point. It establishes beyond a doubt that the zeitgeist in 2008 belongs to one artist,”-Rolling Stones
“More than most rappers, Lil Wayne is a master at self-mythologizing,”-Chicago Tribune
“Take away the football team, the basketball team… and all you’ve got is me to represent New Orleans”-Lil’ Wayne “Tie My Hands”
Album rating: 8.0';
What do you guys suggest on how to fix it? Is it even a REVIEW? Help him out please. Is my friend's review of the carter III, a review at all? Can someone give him some advice?
It sucked the production on the album was ok but the lyrics were well pure crap. Lil' Wayne fell off hard with the Carter III.Is my friend's review of the carter III, a review at all? Can someone give him some advice?
';Album rating: 8.0'; - Fail.
Lil Wayne really isn't the one making all those mixtapes. It's the mixtape DJs that are putting them out, which if you recall, Lil Wayne was completely against.
It was Lil Wayne, himself, that proclaimed himself ';the best rapper alive';. That led to everyone else saying it.
It's not good to say that the best songs were only the singles. The idea is to make people wanna get the entire album. If you say only the singles are good, people are only gonna buy those three or four songs on iTunes instead of the whole thing or if they buy a hard copy of the album, they're not gonna want to explore it for what it really is.
The little biography is unneeded.
He's not an ';actor';. He's an ';artist';.
The quotes from other sources are unneeded.
But I do agree with the 8.0 rating. It was a pretty good album.
I think a review is an observational opinion. No matter how bad an album is, weather or not the listener liked it is the listener's opinion on weather the album is in fact as good or as bad as the reviewer proclaims it is.

I didnt know people still played yu-gi-oh but maybe a 7 cause i only know about 30 of the cards.
My friends gonna take over now =P
You got to have at least 1 monster reborn, it can change the whole game in an instant. Also try having more traps they really come in handy. Please give me a 1/10 review for my Yu-Gi-Oh! Deck and give advice on how it may be improved.?
To make monsters a bit stronger you might want to try to change around a Harpie Lady 1 to a Cyber Harpie Lady or even 2 of them to a Cyber Harpie Lady.....she is already at 1800 attack so is pretty strong for a 4 Star. Then if you can come across it throw in a lovely upgrade to Pet Baby Dragon called Harpie's Pet Dragon. Difficult to get but well worth the buy if you can find it. To keep it Advanced Style keep out the Monster Reborn that was suggested but I do agree that a few more Traps would be helpful. Try to throw in a couple/few of Sakuretsu Armors. Helpful for monster destruction if your opponent gets some higher monsters then you on the field. Otherwise give it a 7 right now as is.
i agree with c.c.
8, pretty good, I wish I had a Enemy Controller.
dont listen to new kids like alex, dont add skilled it has nothing to do with ur deck, it looks preety good, in shape, but the question is, could it stand up to a true deck like mine?
I like this deck quite a bit, especially the monster selection. I might add a second Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon. In the spells and traps, I often recommend Inferno Reckless Summon to go with Harpie Lady 1. Heart of Clear Water does not have a lot of use here. I don't know that Pot of Avarice and Hysteric Party will work well both being in the same deck, though you are in want of the Pot for hand presence as well as recycling the suite. I can see why you don't have Icarus attack here, as you'd have to give up a precious Harpie for it, or else Birdface without getting the effect. Ultimate Offering might be overkill. It might be nice to see a little more s/t removal, but that's just a quibble; overall, this is really well put together. Of course, your addition is a little off - there are 16 monsters, 15 spells and 7 traps. Maybe you could fill in the missing bits.
first off, you would want no more then 2 of the same monster.then put monsters like skilled dark magician and gyroid in your deck.now for your spells and traps, some of your cards are fine, but try putting cards like magic cylinder and soul exchange in your deck. also put cards like waboku, spellbinding circle, swords of revealing light and nightmare's steelcage in your deck to stop your opponent from attacking.that's the way i try to duel.

I would try their website. A lot of those hotels have virtual tours you can take and even special wedding sections so you can see what they have to offer. I would just google their official website. Hope this helps. :)
I am having my wedding reception at The Rio, but we looked into MB. If I recall correctly, the minimum food and drink options they have are $85 a head. That is usually just the food. It would have ended out coming out to about $120 a head, with beverages. We liked it, but it was a tiny bit out of our price range, with 100-150 guests. At The Rio, we will spend about $100 per guest.
If you are set on them, you could consider an in room reception, which is cheaper. I am not sure what capacity is.
Join theknot.com and ask on the Las Vegas board. It is active and several brides have had their ceremony there. I am not sure about reception, though.
Good luck.
I've stayed at Mandalay Bay many times..it's beautiful. Call the concierge and they will hook you up with the people in charge of private parties and weddings. I'm sure they can give you the specifics you are looking for. Just as a side note..I always stay at The Four Seasons when I'm in Las Vegas now. It's actually IN the MB property, but has it's own private pools, restaurants etc. You have full access to Mandalay Bay's pools and spa, too. I can't recommend the service at The FS enough...there is simply nowhere better to stay in Las Vegas. Give the concierge a call and they can tell you all about the amazing weddings they have there! Congrats
Have a bagpiper. Bagpipes are awesome
Am I invited?blackheads
It's gorgeous.
Take a look at the website...
To consult one of their Wedding Coordinators, please call 1-877-632-7701 or locally at 702-632-7490. Or, email the chapel at weddings@mandalaybay.comI would like a wedding/reception for about 30 people at the MandalayBay. Any reviews, advice?
The best advice I could give you is to call them and let them know your options...I would like a wedding/reception for about 30 people at the MandalayBay. Any reviews, advice?

Why can't you give honest, realistic advice or reviews without people getting angry at you?
I just read a review of a book on Barnes and Noble.com It was honest yet critical of the book and was given one star out of five. The review about it said the book was great and had a rating of five stars.
This happens to me here on Yahoo Answers. I'll tell people the truth about college and if I'm too harsh for their tastes I'll see plenty of thumbs downs. Why can't you give honest, realistic advice or reviews without people getting angry at you?
It is because there are a lot of fools on here that think they know everything and that another person's opinion is wrong. The truth is an opinion is just an opinion. A lot of the ones who do that type of thing do not like to consider another person's point of view if it differs from their own.
The fool thinks he/she knows everything and the wise person knows he knows nothing for sure. Why can't you give honest, realistic advice or reviews without people getting angry at you?
two things:
1. you got it right, they got it wrong. the truth hurts, they give you thumbs down. look at simon cowell, he can be too in-your-face. he is critical, he is truthful, but to some, his comments are rude.
2. you think you're right, and you think it's true and honest, but they think you're misinformed, and maybe you are, they give you a thumbs down.
i guess at the end of the day, we can't win everyone. what you perceive as reality will be an inaccurate paradigm to some.
people say they want ';constructive critisism'; but they just want to hear what they want to hear... and if you say much else they blow you off or get mad... its dumb...
but to be great is to be misunderstood (says emerson i think?)... and in my opinion, to be opinionated can be great... maybe because i kinda am... i always have something to stay and i will stand by it...
just remember you cant please everyone.. and they can just get over it =]
If you violate a person's expectations, they get angry. Truth, realism, honesty have nothing to do with it.
Happens to me too. Some people on this board have developed self-imposed importance and if they disagree, they label you wrong. Not much can be done........
Because people can't handle the truth. its life i'm right there with you i just told my friend that she shouldn't where purple zebra stripes with an yellow shirt i told her she wasn't matching and she so yelled at me so now were not speaking.
see what i mean o pahleeze i know i can handle the truth
I review and rant often, and I can easily say that opinion is a major factor. Each person on Earth has a different opinion, maybe unless you're in some screwed up dystopian society. Still, it's quite ridiculous when people thumbs down or think something is wrong just because of their personal opinion. If they disagree, they should answer. They shouldn't attack the other person, but instead give their point of view. I'd also like to say that I should not have to worry about other's opinions, because that's why I post in the first place is to share my own. Overall, I'm saying that a lot of the people on Yahoo Answers should be more open-minded.
Then there's the harshness. Some people need to realize that some answers cannot be answered without harshness. If you can't handle it, don't bother asking, and if you can, just accept the truth if it's given. However, I do not condone insults.
Also, I'm sure some people are just plain stupid. Ignore them.
Sometimes people just want to hear what they think, not the honest truth.
Such is life....someone will always disagree.
Much easier to get mad at the nay-sayer than accept the harsh truth. . . just human nature. sorry, buddy.
